Those mindless dreams were driving her crazy. An arid and lonely place received Ashenee every night, a place that seemed as dangerous as it was beautiful.  

Trapped in her quiet routine, accustomed to the sound of dishes in the sink, the shout of orders in the cafeteria, the smell of coffee and freshly made sweets, she did not imagine what fate had in store for her.

He decides to give him signals that no one else sees and, one night, after observing an aurora borealis, his life changes completely.  Those mountains weren't dreams; they were as real as his racing heartbeat, and as true as this young man who begged for help.
